The debut book by YelloPain. One phone call made health personal — this is the story, the truth, and the plan. Fourteen unfiltered chapters that turn a wake-up call into a way forward for you, your family, and your city.
With a foreword by Dr. Christopher Davis, CMO of Liquivida, My Health Will Count moves from “Forever Young” to “What I Found Under the Hood” — a journey from the illusion of youth to a real prevention plan, written in YelloPain's own voice, for the people health books usually forget.
A hospital room, a wake-up call, and the moment YelloPain stopped assuming everything was fine. This is that story — told with nothing held back.
The inherited habits, the excuses, the comfort traps, and the health education gap passed down through generations — exposed chapter by chapter.
From comprehensive Liquivida diagnostics to a real prevention plan: how to get honest information about your body before life forces you to.
“Forever Young” and “Never Too Young” dismantle the illusion that youth means safety — before age makes the lesson real.
Burnout, bad sleep, stress eating, the comfort trap — the chapters that show what pushing without fuel really costs.
Family history, inherited habits, and the cycle that repeats — and how information early becomes power later.
“When something unhealthy becomes attached to success, it becomes easy to justify keeping it around... That gap between immediate pleasure and delayed reward is where most people lose the fight.”
MY HEALTH WILL COUNT · YELLOPAINYelloPain is a recording artist, songwriter and storyteller from Dayton, Ohio, whose work is rooted in lived experience and the realities of his community. Growing up in an environment where survival was discussed far more often than preventative health, he built his creative career from a small home studio into larger performances, tours and music that has reached millions of people.
As his career grew, YelloPain began confronting the impact that food, alcohol, stress and poor sleep were having on his body. After losing more than sixty pounds, he believed looking fit meant he was healthy — until comprehensive testing at Liquivida revealed issues he could not see or feel. Witnessing a close friend fight for his life following diabetes-related complications made the message even more urgent.
Through My Health Will Count, YelloPain uses his personal journey to make preventative health honest, relatable and culturally relevant. His mission is to encourage people — particularly young people and underserved communities — to ask questions earlier, understand what is happening inside their bodies and look under the hood before life forces them to.
